Yvonne D. Yerbury

Yvonne Dillow Yerbury, 80, wife of Charles P. Yerbury passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her home.  Yvonne was born on April 26, 1937 in Bristol, VA, a daughter of the late Mary & Ralph Dillow, Sr.. She was a Personnel Staffing Specialist with the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 30 years. She was an avid golfer, having scored 3 holes-in-one during her lifetime. She also enjoyed gardening, surf fishing, & reading. She loved sharing her time between the ocean & the mountains. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles; a daughter, Kimberly Winter & husband Mark Winter of Goose Creek, and one brother George Dillow of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wink Dillow, Paul Dillow, and Ralph (Rim) Dillow; and three sisters, Twila Kiser, Edith Pyle, & Betty Hunt, all from Bristol, VA. All services will be private. in lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Roper Hospice.
