Willis Atwood Fields

Mr. Willis Atwood Fields, 89, husband of Frances M. Nohrden, entered into eternal rest on the evening of Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Willis A. Fields are invited to attend his Visitation between the hours of 5:00 & 7:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Services and Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Hancock, Maine. Born in 1926, Willis was a native of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Upon completion of his education, Willis began a long career with Moore Tool Company of Bridgeport, CT, where he served with skill as Chief Draftsman. A man of many interests, Mr. Fields enjoyed sailing, classical music, playing the violin, and classic cars, especially his Rolls-Royce, which he brought back from England. He was a loving husband, and a friend to all who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife Frances, Willis is survived by his brother John. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Laura, and his sister Marie.
