William Monroe Murrow

William "Bill" Murrow entered into eternal rest Monday, July 25, 2022. Bill was born in Aynor, South Carolina on November 10, 1934, the eldest child born to Barney and Rhoda Murrow.

Bill retired from a long career with the South Carolina Department of Transportation as Senior State Inspector of New Road Construction. He was an avid Stingrays Hockey fan and season ticket holder. Gardening was Bill's passion and he took special pride in his rose gardens. He also enjoyed freshwater fishing with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra D. Murrow; stepson, Johnny (Allen) Tanner; three daughters, Vickie McGee, Diane Carroll, Kay Prosser and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
