William Andrew Howell

William Andrew Howell, 70 of Mount Pleasant passed away peacefully in his home after battling a short illness that took him to be with the Lord early. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Howell and Elizabeth Brunson Howell and sisters, Mary Catherine Howell Carmen and JoAnn Howell McInnis.

Drew was an avid fisherman who loved to be out on the Charleston waters. He worked in his younger years on local shrimp trawlers and then shifted his career to Albright & Wilson in the maintenance department. In his spare time, he still enjoyed shrimping, gigging, playing softball and cheering on his number one team, the Clemson Tigers. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Family will be receiving friends and family on May 25th from 5-6 PM at James Mcalister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407, with services immediately following in the chapel at 6 PM. A private burial is scheduled for May 26th at 11 AM.
