Walter Lee Moring

Walter Lee Moring husband of Jane Havens Moring entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 18, 2010 The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Moring are invited to attend his funeral services at the Graveside, Holy Cross Cemetery on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Mr. Moring was born in Farmville, VA a son of Leroy Daughtry and Grace Claiborne Moring on Monday, May 26, 1930. He was a graduate of Farmville High School in Virginia and the Ohmbach Signal School in Germany, where he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Moring was a charter member of Harbor View Presbyterian Church, the International Order of the Kings, Daughters and Sons and an avid Ham Radio Operator. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane H. Moring, three sons, Walter L. Moring, Jr. and his wife, Francine of Columbia, A. Daniel Moring and his wife, Allyson of Meggett and Paul W. Moring and his wife, Kristen of Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Moring, Robert Moring, Tucker Moring, Dustin Moring, Meredith DuRant, Shelby Moring and Taylor Moring.
