Virginia F Condon

Entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2009, Virginia Flanigan Condon, widow of William Francis Condon, Jr., of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Virginia F. Condon are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Rd. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.The family will receive friends this Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. The Rosary will be recited this evening at 6:30 PM. Mrs. Condon was born in Pottsville, PA a daughter of Edward A and Genevieve Lieby Flanigan on Wednesday, October 2, 1918. She attended St. Joseph's College was a graduate of College Misericordia in Dallas, PA. Mrs. Condon was a devoted wife and loving mother, who was totally centered around her love of the Catholic faith and her family. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church, participated in Meals on Wheels and was a Charter member of the Ladies Quis Qui Auxiliary. We will miss her dearly, may she rest in peace. Surviving are eight children, Ginny C. Ravenel and her husband, Owen, R. Michael Condon and his wife, Betty, Billy Condon and his wife, Ingrid, Trisha C. Dittmier and her husband, Tony, Lawrence Condon and his wife, Elaine, Nancy C. Meyer and her husband, Philip, Peggy C. MacMillan and her husband, Hunt , Carol C. Schoening and her husband, Klaus as well as 28 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and two brothers, Joseph Flanigan and Hugh Flanigan.
