Vincent E. Marino, 85, of Daniel Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 29, 2016. The relatives and friends of Vincent E. Marino are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5. St. Teresa Drive, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue, Charleston. The family will receive friends between 5:00 & 8:00 PM Friday, with a 7:00 PM Rosary, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. He attended St. John's University and served his country in Korea. Mr. Marino founded Marine Repair Services and Container Maintenance Corporation in 1971. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Survivors include his wife of 60 years (married on November 4, 1956), Elaine Lacqua Marino; his 2 sons, Vincent James Marino (Pam) and Anthony Vincent Marino (Diane); 5 Grandchildren: Anthony Marino, Ashleigh Marino, Raquel Marino, Mitchell Burkett (Ashley), Hastings Witt; 2 Great-grandchildren: Mya and Brianna Burkett.
