Vince Edward Boyer

Vince Edward Boyer, 47, husband of Rhonda M. Boyer, entered into eternal rest July 25, 2014. The relatives and friends of Vince and Rhonda Boyer are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be offered at www.JamesAMcAlister.com. A native of Charleston, Vince was a son of Billy R. and Margaret V. Boyer, both of whom survive. He was the owner of American Marlin Plumbing, and was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Luke & St. Paul. A loving husband and father, Vince was an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan from the age of 16, and enjoyed a friendly rivalry over football with his parents, both Clemson fans. Vince enjoyed all types of fishing, especially offshore fishing, and had recently started his own plumbing business, and devoted much of his time to the business. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, not the least of which was "General", his basset hound. In addition to his wife and parents, Vince is survived by his 2 children: Ragan "Ray Ray" Boyer Frick and husband Ryan, and Michael Jeffrey "Jeff" Boyer; his brother, David R. Boyer and wife Melissa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian L. Boyer, his paternal grandparents, Earl and Ila Boyer, and his maternal grandparents, Roy and Jeanette Miller. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vince's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
