Vikki Bolton King, 68, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2015, after a brief illness. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5-7pm, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Monsignor Richard D. Vikki was born April 27, 1947 in Newberry, SC, daughter of the late Sally Attaway Bolton and Russell Marion Bolton. She spent the majority of her life in Charleston, SC graduating from James Island High School in 1965. Vikki worked for decades as the laboratory manager at Coburg Dairy until retirement. The relationships she developed there continued throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Gordon K. King, daughter Blair Pugh (Steve) of Columbia, SC; and the lights of her life, her grandchildren, Leighton Grace Pugh and Ford Bolton Pugh, to whom memories of Mimi will bring everlasting laughter and comfort. She is also survived by Thad King of Savannah, GA, (Patricia) and their children, Kearney, Aubrey, and Owen. Vikki will be remembered with much love and laughter by a host of dear friends and family members, including her beloved nieces, Karen Dacosta, Chris Duc, Lee Morelli and Teri Voltz and their beautiful families.
