Tracy Maria Scott

Tracy Maria Scott, 33, of Charleston, passed away on March 1, 2015. The relatives and friends of Ms. Tracy M. Scott are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Wallenberg Blvd. The Rite of Committal will follow in Live Oak memorial Gardens. Her guestbook may be signed online at JamesAMcAlister.com. Tracy was born in Charleston, SC on April 23, 1981, the daughter of Winfield Francis Scott and Betty Ann Sherrer Scott. She graduated from Bishop England High School and the University of South Carolina with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Tracy was employed with AT&T as an engineer for over 10 years. She enjoyed riding with her boyfriend Eddie on his motorcycle on weekends and was an avid Gamecock fan. Tracy is survived by her parents; her boyfriend, Eddie Mixson; her grandfather, Louis F. Sherrer, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Winfield R. Scott and Marguerite McLaughlin Scott, and her maternal grandmother, Maria Sherrer. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Major Capitol Improvement Fund, 1695 Wallenburg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407, or to a charity of one's choice.
