Tomas Contreras

Tomas Contreras, 74, of Sierra Vista, AZ, the husband of Maria Torres Contreras, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on Friday, December, 20, 1935, the son of Carlos Calendario Contreras and Angela Lle-Lles Contreras. Mr. Contreras was a Spot Welder for Pioneer Industries for 36 years. A loving and caring man, who took care of as many people as he possibly could, Mr. Contreras was someone who was always there when you needed him. His family didn't just mean the world to him, they were his world. Mr. Contreras is survived by his loving wife, Maria Contreras; a son, Tomas Contreras and his wife Renee; a daughter, Cristina Fortune and her husband, Dan; four grandchildren, Sean Contreras, Elizabeth Contreras, Danny Fortune, Sadie Fortune and a great grandchild, Sofia Contreras. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Tomas Contreras are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 12, 2010 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. The burial will be held in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the JAMES A.
