On February 5, 2015, Phil left to answer the call from the spiritual all-star jazz ensemble. The relatives and friends of Mr. Thomas Phillips Worsham, Jr. are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. Phil's guestbook may be signed at JamesAMcAlister.com A native Charlestonian born October 10, 1955, he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Phillips Worsham, Sr. and Frances Eleanor Wheeler Worsham, and his brother Franklin Joseph Worsham. Those left to cherish his life are Marla Edwards, the love of his life; his sister, Mary Anne W. Armstrong; and his children, Bradley Worsham, Hannah Worsham, and Lindsay Worsham. Phil is also survived by twelve first cousins and one nephew. He attended Bishop England High School where he was a member of the band. Phil was a humorous and kind man, and his family was his passion. Phil was a past president of Tall Clubs International and a former board member of the TCI Foundation. He enjoyed participating in the St Patrick's Day parade in Savannah as The World's Tallest Leprechaun.
