Therese Ann Ginn

Therese Ann Stowe Ginn, 67, entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2021. Ann was born on May 31, 1954 in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Lewis J. Stowe and Alma M. Stowe.

She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Record Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and was employed by the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina for over 40 years.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Wheeler (Joe) Ginn III, her daughters, Elizabeth Ginn Smith (Elsen) and Jennifer Kathleen Ginn, her five grandchildren, Wyatt, Isabelle, Grace, Hannah, and Ronen Smith.

She was predeceased by her brother, Lewis J. Stowe III.

Ann was an active member of The Church of the Nativity on James Island.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, going to Clemson football games and tailgating. She also loved her dogs, Eugene and Clemson and her granddog Maxie.

Ann’s family will receive friends and family between 3:00 and 5:00 PM Sunday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM, Monday, June 14, 2021, at The Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, James Island. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in her memory to The Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
