Belleview, FL - Theresa Cordray Preston, 96, formerly of Charleston and widow of Robert Preston, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 18, 2015. The relatives and friends of Theresa C. Preston are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Catholic Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 5:00 & 7:00 PM Tuesday, with a 6:45 PM Vigil Service, at the James A. Theresa was born November 30, 1918 in Charleston, a daughter of John Allen & Marie Griser Cordray. She graduated from Bishop England High School, after which she began a long career with Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company, which later became BellSouth. She retired as a Staff Assistant in the Personnel Department at BellSouth's Miami office, having served the company for over 50 years. A lifelong and devout Roman Catholic, Theresa was active in her parish and gave selflessly of her time and resources. A loving friend and family member, Theresa will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Theresa is survived by her brother, John Cordray, 2 sisters, Margaret Davis and Bernice Castillo, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements by James A.
