Terri Ward Skinner, 58, died after a long struggle with cancer on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at her home in Ravenel, S.C. She was born on June 7, 1958 in Charleston, S.C. to Leon and Doris Ward. Terri attended Ashley Hall School and St. Andrews High School. She developed a love of horses at a young age and excelled as a rider and became well known as a riding instructor and trainer. She served as a volunteer 4H leader in Charleston county for many years and most recently formed and operated Coastal Island Horse Shows with her friend and business partner Daniel Polacek. Terri is survived by her husband, Allan; son, James; daughter, Katie; mother, Doris and brothers, Buddy and Micheal. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Allan G. Skinner are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Christ-St. Paul's Parish Church, Yonges Island. Burial will follow in the Churchyard.
