Terri Lee Maynard Glenn, 60, of West Ashley, the widow of J. Anthony Tony' Glenn, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Relatives and friends of Terri M. Glenn are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2009, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Charleston. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. The committal will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. In honor of Terri's benevolent nature, the family recommends a memorial donation to either: Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Rd. North Charleston, SC 29406-6138 or Charleston Preservation Society, 147 King St., Charlston, SC 29401. Terri was born in Pikeville, KY on Saturday, September 10, 1949, the daughter of Homer L. Maynard and Helen S. Maynard. She graduated from USC with an Accounting degree. Terri was the past owner of TG's Gift Shop in the Market and currently owned Architectural Antiques & Gardens in West Ashley. She made time in her life for many things, including her beloved Charleston. Terri was very active in the Preservation Society and was a Historic Home Volunteer. She had a generous heart and gave so much of herself to her friends and family as well as to others whom she could lend her helping hand. Terri is survived by her Uncles, Ken Maynard and Milford (Jim) Maynard of Las Vegas, NV; and her Aunt's, Mary Elizabeth(Maynard) Hall of Hernando, FL, Anita Marie (Maynard) Piper of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lee (Maynard) McNear of Belmont, CA, Mabel Jean (Maynard) Canady of Las Vegas, NV and Connie Ann (Maynard) Wray of Blackfoot, ID. She is also survived by literally hundreds of friends who Terri considered all to be close' friends. All who were fortunate enough to be in her circle of friends, knew how blessed they were.
