Mrs. Sybil Ann Poplin Vick, 74, of Charleston, the wife of James Ebbie Vick, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born in Albemarle, NC on Friday, June 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Winfred Paul Poplin and Mary Neil Carpenter Poplin. Mrs. Vick was a member of the Eastern Star. She will always be remembered as a wonderful person and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Vick is survived by her husband of 56 years, James E. Vick of Charleston, SC; two sons, J. Michael Vick and his wife Maureen of Reevesville, SC and Jeffrey A. Vick and his wife Heather of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Kristin Starns and her husband Ashton James Starns, of Summerville, SC, Braden J. Vick of Charleston, SC and Claire E. Vick of Charleston, SC; two great granddaughters, Kylie Starns and Chloe Starns both of Summerville, SC and her sister, Iris C. Lear of Carolina Beach, NC. The relatives and friends of Sybil A. Vick are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February, 12, 2011 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC, with Rev. Skip Owens officiating.
