Susan Walker

Susan “Suzy” Chalfant Walker, age 35, passed away on September 23, 2021, in Charlotte, NC. Suzy was beloved for her style and love of family, and, as such, is survived by her super awesome, loving, caring, life coaching and comfort providing parents: Henry F. Walker and Constance “Connie” Walker (Chalfant), her sister Elizabeth C. Rabjohns (Walker), brother-in-law Douglas T. Rabjohns, her “slightly older” brother John “Johnny” F. Walker, and sister-in-law Kerry E. Walker (Cunningham); her spirited and beautiful nieces, Virginia C. Rabjohns and Alexandra W. Rabjohns, and her special friend, Nephew Chase T. Walker.

Beyond her immediate family, Suzy is survived by a rather large extended family, which she adored and loved with all her heart. To the Wofford Terriers and Theta Sorority Sisters, Suzy loved you all to pieces, each one of you. Suzy’s life will be celebrated during an intimate memorial service at Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston, SC.

Suzy’s favorite place on the planet was Bald Head Island, where she enjoyed spending with family and friends. To continue her love of Bald Head Island, the family requests that donations be made to the Bald Head Island Turtle Conservancy ( https://www.bhic.org/give ) in her honor.
