Susan Egenia Smith

Susan Egenia Smith, 79, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest January 13, 2019, at her residence. The relatives and friends of Susan E. Smith are invited to attend her Memorial Service 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Susan was born August 07, 1939, the daughter of Raleigh and Lena Johnson. She was an entrepreneur of many things, the most recent and rewarding being a business owner of Pandora's Gift Shop in Walterboro, SC. Her favorite hobbies included, gardening, reading, fishing, shrimping, and crabbing. Her favorite comfort was spending time at the beach with family.

She is survived by her children, Timothy E. Sightler, Terri J. Sightler, Lynn G. Thornley (Harry), and Stephen C. Sightler (Angie); her sisters, Catherine (Douglas) Mitchum, Martha Murray, and Jeanette (Frank) Jenkins; 7 Grandchilden; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
