Stephen Parks Royster

Entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 14, 2011 Stephen Parks Royster, husband of Joanna Seckman Royster. Stephen was born in Dayton, Ohio a son of Franklin Parks Royster and Clara Virginia Watkins Royster on Thursday, June 23, 1955. He was a Estimator with a carpet company. Stephen honorably served in the United States Air Force for over ten years leaving as as Sergeant. Surviving are his wife, Joanna S. Royster, two sons, Jesse Parks Royster and Logan Nickolas Royster all of Charleston, a brother, Franklin Parks Royster, Jr. of Charleston, a sister, JoAnne R. Wernz of Boulder, Colorado and several nieces and nephews. The Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Royster are invited to attend his Requiem Mass at the Church of the Holy Communion, 218 Ashley Ave. Charleston, SC 29403 at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM The family request's contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
