Stephen Robert Reibold

Stephen Robert Reibold, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born July 11, 1953 to Robert and Carolyn Reibold of Springfield, Ohio, he is survived by his wife Melissa, his son Chris, his daughter Kate, and his daughter Grace. He leaves behind his sisters Cathy, Julie, and Ann, and brother Marty.

Steve loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and was an avid Ohio State fan. He loved regaling his family with stories from his past and discussing the TV shows and movies he was watching. He was a big food lover and loved his wife’s chili and chicken noodle dinners. His sweet tooth was immeasurable, and he could always be found with a cookie in hand and candy in his pocket. In Steve’s later years, he was able to travel with his family to France and Italy, and loved visiting art museums and experiencing the local culture. Steve was fearless and dignified during his battle with ALS and will be sorely missed by his loved ones and friends.
