Saphira Mercado-York

Charleston, SC - Saphira Mercado-York, infant daughter of Tiffany Mercado and Kendal York, went home to Jesus on Friday, February 14, 2014. The relatives and friends of Tiffany and Kendal are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial for their beloved daughter at 10:00 AM Monday, February 17, 2014, from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Savannah Highway, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Azalea Drive, N. Charleston. Although her time here was very short, Saphira fulfilled a great purpose in the lives of her family. There is no doubt that God was with her during her short life here, and that Saphira is with Him in heaven. In addition to her parents, Saphira was blessed with a sister, Angel Mercado, maternal grandmother Elsa Victoria Moore and husband Jack, maternal grandfather Eladio Mercado, Jr. and wife Ana, paternal grandmother Lisa Beth Nelson and husband William, 4 Aunts: Leslie, Cindy, Brittani, Hannah; 3 Uncles: Kelly, Jamie, Trevor, several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Randal Shane York.
