Sadie R. Harder

Sadie Rosalie Martinez Harder, 78, of Charleston, SC, widow of Kenneth E. Harder, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 18, 2019. The relatives and friends of Sadie Rosalie Martinez Harder are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd., Charleston. Father Patrick O. Eyinla will celebrate the Mass. The Rite of Committal will take place 10:00 AM Tuesday at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundry St., Beaufort. The family will receive friends between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Sunday at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM Sunday.

Sadie was born February 13, 1941 in Denver, CO and raised in San Francisco, CA, daughter of Robert and Amelia Martinez. She is survived by her daughter Linda Braecklein (Tracy) of Walterboro, SC and son John Harder of Canyon Lake, TX; ten grandchildren, Nicole Graybill, Elizabeth Grant, Melanie Graybill Horne, Ashlie Harder, Danielle Graybill, Destinee Harder, Theresa Braecklein, Tracy Braecklein, Jr., Christine Harder, and Jane Burkett; nine great-grandchildren; and special sister Linda Wolfert of Summerville, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Valarie Harder Graybill and son Raymond Harder.
