Ruth Ella Artiglere

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ruth Ella Eadie Artiglere, who left us on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 103. Ruth was born on October 6, 1921, a daughter of Pressley and Carey Eadie. Ruth lived a remarkable life dedicated to caring for others. A graduate of St. Francis Xavier Hospital Nursing School, in Charleston, SC, she went on to serve as a Nurse in the United States Navy. Her warmth and compassion touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Artiglere; her son, Thomas H. Holt; and her grandson Todd K. Peterson. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Peterson; her grandson, Andrew Peterson (Jennifer); granddaughter, Cassandra Holt; great-granddaughters Emma and Pheobe; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, and her beloved dog, Fredo.
