Roy Moore Cobble

August 30, 1946 — August 21, 2016

Roy Moore Cobble entered into eternal rest at his home in Charleston, SC on August 21, 2016, after a brief illness. Per his request, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held in Shelbyville, Tennessee and interment will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Roy was born August 30, 1946 in Shelbyville to the late Marie Jennette Cobble and Lemuel Moore Cobble. He is survived by his sister Barbara Cobble of Charleston, SC, several cousins in Tennessee, and his beloved Bassett Hound, Stymie.
Roy moved to Charleston after retiring from a successful career as a Credit Manager in Alexandria, Virginia. He loved fishing, watching westerns, and gaming online with his friends worldwide. He was a member of ClearView Baptist Church.
