Entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 2, 2014, Rosemary Frances Simonin. The relatives and friends of Rosemary F. Simonin are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Christ Our King Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Her Guestbook may be signed at www.JamesAMcAlister.com. Rosemary was born in Charleston on May 14, 1924, a daughter of Leo Lawrence and Mary Cecilia Danehey Simonin. She graduated from Bishop England High School and St. Frances Nursing School. As a Registered Nurse, Rosemary worked in the Nursery at St. Frances Hospital for many years before joining the Speisseger and Townsend Medical Practice. She was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church. Rosemary was predeceased by three brothers: Charles J. Simonin, Leo L. Simonin, Jr. and the Reverend Monsignor John A. Simonin. She is survived by her sister: Dolores S. Puckhaber, twelve nieces and nephews, numerous grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. The family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
