Rose N. Scandell

May 18, 1927 — May 11, 2024

Mrs. Rose N. Scandell, widow of the late Donald H. Scandell, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the age of 96. Rose was born on May 18, 1927 in Conway, SC. the daughter of the late Foster L. Jordan and Rose Jollie Jordan.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services at 1:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Graveside, Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414

Rose attended Palmer Business College in Charleston and worked at and retired form Live Oak Memorial Gardens in West Ashley with over  30 years of service. She was a faithful member of Charleston Baptist Church.

Rose was preceded in death by her children, Wesley DeHay (Lenora), Rose DeHay (Sherry, Alan, Kimberly, Daren), Helen T. Easterling and Nancy Scandell.

Rose is survived by her children, William Easterling (Ashley) of Roundo, SC and Linda Easterling Patrick of Eutawville, SC.  and her stepchildren, Kenneth Scandell and Gail Scandell

Rose is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren as well as special friends Debra Jennings and Barbara Hardwick, and all of the faithful friends and family, too numerous to list.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials to be made to Charleston Baptist Church,13 San Miguel Rd, Charleston, SC 29407.
