Ronald Fredrickson Yeager

Ronald Fredrickson Yeager, 62, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. The relatives and friends of Mr. Ronald F. Yeager are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on December 7, 1956, in Charleston, SC, Ronnie was the son of the late Stanley Earl Yeager and Dorothy Fredrickson Yeager. He attended the College of Charleston and pursued the food and beverage industry, becoming a restaurant manager and wine rep. In his later years, he enjoyed his rewarding work for the Center for Education and Teaching at MUSC. Ron's favorite pastime was entertaining and cooking for his family and friends. He was always known for being the life of the party with his clownish sense of humor.

Ronnie is survived by his mother Dorothy, son Devon Yeager (Bethany), daughter Kristen Kennedy (Dean), brother Stanley Earl Yeager, Jr., (Julie), sister Susan Hall, (Robert), and 4 grandchildren whom he held very dear: Asher Yeager, Sawyer Kennedy, Harper Kennedy, and Holden Yeager. Ronnie will also be missed by his Godfather and uncle Ted Yeager (Paula), aunt Gloria Yeager, 2 nephews, a great niece, and numerous cousins whom he cherished growing up with.
