Robert George Wilcox Ii

Robert G. Wilcox II, 59, of Charleston SC passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, after battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

Born in Plattsburg, NY, he was the son of Major Robert G. Wilcox, USAF (Ret.) and Diane Hill Wilcox Williams. He graduated from St Andrew's Parish High School in 1980, alongside his wife and high school sweetheart Renee Shaw Wilcox. He was the proud owner of New View Paint and Body for the past 19 years.

Robert was most notably a member of the Family Riders Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding both On and Off-Road motorcycle events in the southeast. He was involved in numerous Kids with Cancer Organization and events. He loved paddling the local rivers in either his Folbot or Kayak. He also enjoyed watching Nascar racing.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Renee Shaw Wilcox; daughters, Whitney S Wilcox (Jon Szall) and Madison I Wilcox. He has one precious granddaughter, Victoria Szall and a sister, Rae Bowles. He also had 3 nieces, 1 nephew and 1 great-niece and 1great-nephew.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ross Wilcox and his sister Renee Summey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Avenue, Charleston SC 29407 at 3:00 p.m. The visitation with the family will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St, Mark United Methodist Church.
