Robert E. Kruger

CHARLESTON - Mr. Robert E. Kruger passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011. Born April 10, 1937 in Elmhurst, NY, he was a son of the late Irene Schippers Trumpbour and Ernest Kruger. He attended New York University, served in the United States Air Force and was devoted to his family, church, and friends. Surviving are his sons Steven and Kirk Kruger of Raleigh, North Carolina and Robert Kruger, Jr. of Queens, New York as well as grandchildren Ryan, Conor and Kaeleigh Kruger. The relatives and friends of Robert E. Kruger are invited to attend his Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC. The visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. The Rite of Committal will be held on Monday March 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC with Military Honors. Arrangements are by the JAMES A.
