Bobby Hendricks passed away peacefully Sunday, August 7, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was born on November 5, 1966, in Charleston, a son of Kathy Britzius and the late James J Hendricks and graduated from Bishop England High School and Anderson Junior College.
Bobby was a very adventurous person that never met a stranger, and always with a wonderful smile. From backpacking his way through Europe, working for World Airlines as a Stewart, bartending at “The Arcade” and working at Magnolia’s and Anson Restaurants’, to working for and/or partnering with several natural and organic food companies and eventually ended up being a Marketing Consultant for Organic and Natural Foods in New York City. He was a devoted and loving father to his two beautiful daughters.
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Quinn Hendricks and Chelsey Conyers; his mother, Kathy Britzius; his two brothers, Steve Hendricks and Jimmy Hendricks; his sister, Chrissy Denning and her husband, Carrol; his niece and nephew, Katie Denning and Nick Denning; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Bobby’s life, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at 82 Queen Restaurant, 82 Queen St., Charleston, 29401. All other services will be private.
