Robert John Frattaroli, 83, of Kiawah Island, SC, passed away on April 22, 2025.
Born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1941 and baptized on Pearl Harbor Day, Bob was the youngest son of the late Frank and Anna Schettino Frattaroli. He graduated from Stamford High School and Villanova University, where he played baseball and remained a lifelong Wildcat fan. Bob served in the United States Air Force at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. He worked full time while earning a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Bob was an accomplished businessman who worked in pharmaceutical sales and medical publishing in the New York City area, London, Amsterdam and Washington, DC. Bob was an avid golfer. In 2020, Bob made a hole in one on the 6th Hole at the Kiawah Island Club Cassique Golf Course.
Bob was a beloved and devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Janet Schutz; son, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Tracey of Dallas, Texas; son, Jonathan and daughter-in-law Jennifer, of New Canaan, Connecticut. Bob aka "Geepers" was a loving grandfather to grandchildren, Caroline and husband Matthew Lillard; Allison, Elena, Marina and Andrew; great-grandson, and namesake Benjamin Robert Lillard. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Manning and Patricia Frattaroli as well as numerous nieces and nephews from the Frattaroli and Schutz families.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Manning Frattaroli; brother, Franklin; sister-in-law, Jane and brother, Joseph Frattaroli.
The family will hold a private service to celebrate Bob's life.
