Robert Otto Dempsey

Mr. Robert Otto Dempsey, 73, of Johns Island, the widower of Margie Johns Dempsey, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Ralph H. Johnson V A Medical Center, Charleston, SC. Mr. Demsey was born in Charleston, SC on Friday, October 2, 1936, the son of the late Simeon Otto and Gladys Raben Dempsey. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Charleston County as a Computer Analyst. Mr. Dempsey is survived by his daughter, Kelly A. Dempsey of Houston, TX; a stepson, Daulton C. Smith and his wife Lettie of Palmetto, FL; his aunt, Dot Park of Newberry, SC and his brother and sister-in-law, Martin and Lil McDowell of Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. Robert O. Dempsey are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
