Robert "Bob" F. Shenck Ii

Entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2014, Robert "Bob" Shenck II, husband of Cheryl Shenck of Ravenel, SC. The family will receive friends at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a time of sharing at 4:00 PM. Bob was born on September 2, 1957 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late Robert F. Shenck and Dorothy Long Shenck of New Cumberland, PA. He was employed with CSG Construction of Charleston, a service disabled veteran construction company. Bob loved NASCAR racing, yard work, and hunting. He was certified in CPR, First Aid and Quality Control Management through the US Army Corps of Engineers. Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl Shenck of Ravenel and his beloved dog, Fancy; sister-in-law, Cindi Kirkland; brother-in-law, Michael Kirkland; nephew, Michael (Kirk) Kirkland of Charleston; Melody Wallace, Christine Hoy, and mother, Dorothy Shenck, all of PA. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Gephart of PA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation Mid-South Division, P.O. Box 486, Ellendale, TN 38029.
