Robert Michael Badger, Sr.

Robert Michael Badger, Sr., 65, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2017. His wife of 35 years, Catherine Scarborough Badger, was by his side. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Badger, Sr., are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 9, 2017, at St. Andrew's Church, Mt. Pleasant Ministry Center. A reception will follow in Sam's Hall, at the church. Bob is survived by his wife; his son, Robert Michael Badger, Jr.; two brothers, Kenneth H. Badger, Jr. (Lynn) and Brian W. Badger (Eve); two sisters, Margaret B. Richardson and Patricia B. Kay (Stephen); one brother-in-law, John L. "Jack" Scarborough (Erinne); one sister-in-law, Elizabeth S. Wiggins (Walter); and many nieces and nephews, Brandon L. Badger, Kerry S. Badger, Landry K. Brown (Andrew), Deas M. Richardson IV (Kathy), Emily J. Richardson, W. Heath Richardson, Bonnie C. Richardson (Jonas), S. Andrew Kay (Taylor), Zachary T. Wiggins, Katie P. Wiggins, Shane S. Scarborough, Raegan H. Badger, Dillon V. Scarborough, Jacob A. Brown, Grayson R. Kay, and Reina E. Richardson.Bob retired from SC State Parks, having worked at Charles Towne Landing for over 30 years. He loved to bird watch, play word games, write poetry, and make people laugh. He loved his family and friends dearly and was a blessing to them all.
