Robert Oren Anderson

Robert Oren Anderson, 55, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on April 27, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Robert was known for his steady presence, kind heart and unwavering dedication to those he loved most.

His Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Irene; his daughter, Elizabeth; his son, Austin (Autumn) and their four children: Ryleigh, Ellie, Adeline and Oren. He is also survived by his father, Larry Anderson (Eva); his twin sister, Robin Wall (Kenny) and their two daughters; his brother, Daniel Anderson (Kristen) and their two sons and his brother-in-law, Roger Quinn (Kelli) and their three children. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, as well as half and step-brothers and sisters and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra C. Cobb; his stepfather, John P. Cobb and others who welcomed him with open arms.

Robert was a man of quiet strength-smart, hardworking and steadfast. He carried himself with a gentle kindness that made others feel at ease and he had a natural sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. Above all, he was deeply protective of his family and loved them more than anything.

He found joy in life's simple but meaningful moments-watching football, spending time with loved ones and especially being a proud father and Pops. Those roles meant everything to him and he embraced them fully, leaving behind a legacy of love, guidance and unwavering support.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his love and steady presence will remain with his family always.

The family of Robert Oren Anderson would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, support and kindness shown during this time.

His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure and he will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
