Entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2011, Ralph A. Nadeau, husband of Virginia Chevrier Nadeau. Ralph was born in Biddeford, Main on Tuesday, October 1, 1918, one of 12 children of Napoleon L. and Isabelle Masse Nadeau He was educated in the local schools in Biddeford and Sacred Heart College in Victoriaville, Canada. Ralph was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church . He served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion in Charleston and the American Legion and Am Vets while in Maine. Ralph was a courtesy clerk at the local Piggly Wiggly for 17 years. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Virginia C. Nadeau, his brother, Rudy Nadeau of Pasadena, CA, three sisters, Frances Nadeau and Claire Dutil both of Biddeford, ME. and Sister Cecile Nadeau, P.O.M. of Methuen, MA, a special daughter, Darlene Grindell Batoszek of Connecticut and a stepson, Royd Grindell of North Carolina. The family will receive friends at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy., on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Nadeau are invited to attend his Funeral Liturgy at the James A. McAlister Chapel, at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 3, 2011.
