William Perry McKevlin, Jr., 79, of Johns Island, SC, husband of Ruth T. McKevlin, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 14, 2021.

His Litergy of the Word will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC. The Rite of Committal will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

William was born March 4, 1942, in Charleston, SC. He was a son of Annie Slattery and William Perry McKevlin, Sr.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Meyer and Harriett Hamilton (Mike); step-daughter, Brenda Howland (Aaron); step-son, Rusty Webb (Lisa); 8 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
