Pauline Fox Garrett

Pauline Fox Garrett, 100, widow of Yancey Jason Garrett, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. The relatives and friends of Pauline Fox Garrett are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017 at White Church Cemetery, Hwy 165, Ravenel. Pauline was born November 20, 1916 in Ravenel, a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Fox. A loving mother and homemaker, she was for many years and active member of the Baptist Church, where she participated in her Sunday School Class, the WMU, flower guild, and baking for church dinners and events. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs, and more recently grew fond of the many birds and squirrels that ventured up to her bird feeders. She was most fond of her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Pauline is survived by her 3 children: Jenks Garrett (Maureen), Jackie McDowell, and Sam Garrett (Jane); 3 Grandchildren: Julie, Keith, and Jenny; and 2 Great-grandchildren, Codi and Leena. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Essie Johnson, Jennie Branham, Mabel Doyle, Bernice Smoak, Julius Fox, Arthur Fox, Eugene Fox, and Foster Fox.
