Paul was born November 30, 1930, in Providence, RI, a son of Joseph and Mary Doyle.
He was a twenty-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant and serving a distinguished and honorable tour of duty in Korea.
Paul was a wonderful husband, father and grandparent. Everyone touched by his love and graciousness was blessed with the great distinction of being a part of his remarkable life. Though our heart is saddened during this dark period, we are encouraged by a desire to keep his memory alive through faith and the amazing resilience of the human soul when surrounded by love. In time, with God’s grace, we know this hard road will become not a burden but a place of great honor.
Paul is survived by his children: Linda DeVane, Patti Ringo, Laurie Pope, Rachael Stallsmith and Dan Doyle; his grandchildren: Marissa Ringo, Caroline Ringo, Bryant Ringo, Nicholas Stallsmith, Mackenzie Stallsmith, Makayla Stallsmith, Desiree Ralston, Kristen Brumbaugh, Sydni Redmond, Olivia Pope and Bailey Pope; his great-grandchildren: Emma Brumbaugh, Benjamin Brumbaugh, Riley Redmond and Maya Redmond as well as his sisters-in-law: Ruth Doyle and Margaret Shieder.
