Patti Harris Spring, aged 68, of Myrtle Beach, SC, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2023. She was born on August 30, 1955, in Sumter, SC, to the late Harry L Harris, Sr. and Geraldine M. Harris.
Patti was the epitome of a gracious southern lady, radiating warmth and kindness to all who knew her. She held a special place in her heart for her beloved friends and cherished her family dearly. Patti is survived by her loving husband, Marty, her devoted son, Harris (Jessica) and her two adoring granddaughters, Emma and Brooklyn.
She received her education at Wilson Hall, laying the foundation for a life filled with purpose and passion. Patti's heart was forever drawn to the tranquil shores of the beach, where she sought solace and joy in the company of her loved ones. Patti owned a surf shop called Mother Ocean in Myrtle Beach. Her love for nature extended to camping adventures, and she found great delight in collecting and preserving antique furniture. She was an avid Clemson Tiger Fan, always rooting for her Tigers during football season. Patti's wanderlust led her on countless memorable journeys. She loved attending rock concerts and listening to music. Additionally, her compassionate nature always compelled her to care for those in need.
A visitation to honor Patti's life will be held Between 4:00 and 6:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2023, at the esteemed James A. McAlister Funeral Home in Charleston, SC. The caring professionals at James A. McAlister Funeral Home have been entrusted with the arrangements.
