Patricia Dianne Jones

Patricia Dianne Jones, 71, of Charleston, SC, and widow of the late William H. Jones, Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, January 05, 2018. The relatives and friends of Patricia Dianne Jones are invited to attend her Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. The family will receive friends between 5 and 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dianne was born November 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Catherine Bendt and Coleman M. Driggers, Sr. She grew up in Charleston. She was married for 40 years to William H. Jones, Sr. at the time of his passing. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were devoted to their family. They enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, and both had hearts of gold. Although all four of her children were active in sports, Dianne made the effort to attend all of their various games. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dianne is survived by her 3 children: Debbie Jones-Zeigler and husband Bubba, Gary Jones and wife Sharon, David Jones and wife Ellen; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Coleman 'Butch' Driggers, Jr., Jackie Driggers and wife Gail; and her sister Linda Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son William H. Jones, Jr.
