Pat C. Steffel

Patricia 'Peanut' C. Steffel, widow of James R. Steffel, Sr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 1, 2017. The relatives and friends of Patricia C. Steffel are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Center St., Folly Beach. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Patricia was born October 4, 1936, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of J. L. Cluka and Hattie Burbage Cluka. She graduated from Chicora High School, class of 1954. Patricia was a retired banker from SC National (1974) and then First Citizens Bank (2001). She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church since 1993. She was active in the Women's Guild, Parish Council and Finance Council. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James R. Steffel, Sr.; her brother, Edward Cluka of Richmond, VA. Patricia is survived by her brother, Harold Cluka of James Island, SC; her daughter-in-law, Annick 'Nicky' Steffel; her grandchildren, Patricia, Jimmy and Christopher Steffel and four great-grandchildren, all of Charleston, SC.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Women's Guild, 106 W.
