Pat W. Hinds

Pat W. Hinds, 77, husband of Ollie H. Hinds of Charleston, passed away June 12, 2013. He was born on April 25, 1937, in Chattanooga, TN, a son of Fred and Telma Hinds.He was a retired Marine veteran that loved his family and friends to the very end. Pat had been battling Parkinson for a couple of years now, until his body could no longer fight the complications. Survivors include his wife, Ollie Hinds, of Charleston; sons, Fred Hinds of Charleston and Michael Hinds of Walterboro; daughter, Joann McDonough and her husband, Randy, of North Charleston; a nephew, Ronnie Hinds and his family of TN as well as six grandchildren and several great grandchildren, too many to list. He was predeceased by Pat W. Hinds Jr. of Charleston. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Pat W. Hinds are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. The family understands that not everyone will be able to attend and would like to thank you for your thoughts and encouragement through this difficult time.
