Pastor Donald Conrad Miller

Wadmalaw Island, SC - Pastor Donald C. Miller, 82, a "retired" Pastor and husband of Yvonne Suzanne Chateau Miller, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 30, 2015. A former resident of Arvada, Colorado, he founded and served as Senior Administrator of Maranatha Christian Center in Arvada for 32 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at SonShine Oaks Retreat, 2426 Brigger Hill Rd. Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487, Saturday, August 8, 2015, on what would have been Pastor Miller's 83rd birthday. It will be open house 2 - 5 pm with a prayer service at 3 pm. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Emery and Lucille Pfifer Miller. Pastor Miller received his Doctorate in Theology, and even afterward continued his education right up to the time of his passing. He and his family lived in the Arvada area for 40 years, and only recently moved to South Carolina, where he will be laid to rest in a new Prayer Chapel to be constructed next to the existing historic cemetery on the ministry property on Wadmalaw Island. Pastor Miller is survived by his wife of 62 years, 2 daughters: Deborah Grillo and husband Michael, Sheryl Truesdell and husband Scott; 4 Grandchildren: Isaac Grillo, Ashriel Huber, Tirzah Washington, JessiKay Witkop; 6 Great-grandchildren: Azure, Javan, Morgan, Evelyn, Silas, Eliada; his Niece, Karen Joslin, and his Nephew, Larry Davis.
