Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 8, 2010, Pasquale James Maglione, widower of Jean Gault Maglione. The relatives and friends of Pasquale J. Maglione are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Nativity Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends this Friday evening between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah hwy.. Mr. Maglione was born on Friday, May 22, 1925, in Montcalir, NJ. a son of Anthony and Bendetta Squagamore Maglione. He graduated from Montclair High School, received a BS Degree in Education from Paterson State University and a MS Degree from Kean College in 1957. Mr. Maglione was a devoted educator in Montclair, NJ., at Baxter Patrick School on James island, at CE Williams School in Charleston and at the College of Charleston until his retirement. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army and was a combat veteran of the Battle of the Bulge during World War II where he was wounded in battle. Mr. Maglione was the recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his heroism. He is survived by his children: Anthony C. Maglione and his wife, Betsy, of Mt. Pleasant and Helen M. Corriera and her husband, Richard, of Gainsville, FL; two grandchildren, Anthony Maglione, Jr. and his wife, Jaime and Alan Maglione; a sister, Angelina M. Darpino and a brother, Joseph Maglione.
