Milton B. Bazzel

Milton "Bubba" Bazzel, beloved husband of Maebelle Barnett Bazzel, passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him after battling a long illness. The relatives and friends of Milton and Maebelle Bazzel are invited to attend his Funeral Service 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening between 6:00 & 8:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home. Milton was born on James Island on October 4, 1937 to parents Ambrose Perry and Lila Valentine Bazzel. "Bubba" grew up on the streets of Charleston where he returned after living all over the country while working in the trucking industry. Predeceased by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by his wife and children which include James Michael Bazzel, daughters Kelly Bazzel Cribb (Thomas), Kimberly Bazzel Weninger (Michael), and Kristina Bazzel Spoon (Josh); his 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; one sister, Gladys Bazzel Bernard, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
