Mildred J. Curry

Mildred Jeanette Curry, 76, wife of Ronald J. Curry, entered into eternal life Sunday, September 6, 2015. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Curry are invited to attend the Funeral Service for the latter 12:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place 1:00 PM Monday, September 14 at Beaufort National Cemetery. Mildred was born in 1939 in Inman, SC, the daughter of Coy "Jack" Bradley and his wife Bertha. She attended school in Startex, SC. In the 1960's, Mildred became a licensed Cosmetologist. She later studied to become an Electrolysist, and successfully operated her own business. After retirement, she kept herself and her home beautifully. Mildred loved gardening and visiting with family, whether it was poolside at home or upstate Carolina. Mildred and Ronald were married for 41 years. Together they were the parents of 7 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister and 2 brothers.
