Mildred Louise Anderson Bridgeman entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Mrs. Bridgeman was born on August 1, 1915, one of six children born in Forrest City, Arkansas to Nora Whittenton and Everett Sutton Anderson. She was the widow of Charles Elmore Bridgeman. Mildred had been a radiologic technician in the pioneer days of the field, was an avid church and school volunteer as well as a talented seamstress. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Charles Marshall Bridgeman and Glen Anderson Bridgeman; her brother, Clayborn and sisters, Stella Anderson Christian, Gladys Anderson Ferguson and Helen Anderson Stough. She is survived by one brother, Curtis Anderson of Forrest City, AR and her grandchildren: Chris Bridgeman of Charleston, Jason Bridgeman of Avon Lake, Ohio, Richard Bridgeman of Charleston, Larkin Ryan Newberry of Summerville and Jonathan Bridgeman of North Charleston, as well as four great-grandchildren: Angie, Hannah, Ava and Cecilia. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Beaufort National Cemetery.
