Michael Frederick Mclaughlin

Michael Frederick McLaughlin, 54, entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 13, 2014. The relatives and friends of Michael F. McLaughlin are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 888 King Street, Charleston. Online condolences may be offered at www.JamesAMcAlister.com. Michael was born in Charleston, SC on July 17, 1959 and was one of six children of Ralph V. McLaughlin, Sr. and Jean LeaMond McLaughlin. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Jean LeaMond McLaughlin. He is survived by his father, Ralph V. McLaughlin, Sr.; his sister, Kathy M. Steinmeyer; his sister, Jeannie M. Mills (Vince); his brother, Ralph V. McLaughlin, Jr.; his sister, Patricia A. McLaughlin; and his brother, Christopher J. McLaughlin (Shannon), all of Charleston. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael graduated from Bishop England High School and attended The College of Charleston. He worked for many years as a landscaper and was always admired for his exceptional work and detail beautifying the yards he maintained. Michael was a loving son, brother, and a true friend to many. He will dearly be missed by all who knew him.
